I’ve been doing this whole shoe thing for nearly twenty years and the fake sellout sh*t is so irritating. Jordan Brand obviously commands the space of limited footwear so it really annoys me that Brandblack “sold out” on 11/03 and “restocked” two days later on Finishline 11/05. Maybe it was Finishline that wanted to do the fake sellout but not likely given Brandblack’s history.
Trying to be cool isn’t the same thing as actually being cool so please stop with this garbage Brandblack. All companies do it except maybe Adidas because they understand their stuff doesn’t have a Jumpman logo (yeezy’s are different i suppose but I’m not into those anyways).
I was thinking of doing a review on the Rare Metal but now I’m peaved and may wait for a wider release as prices drop. We all know how great the JC3 sold haha. At least the Rare Metal doesn’t have a super inflated price because it had Jamal Crawford’s name on it. Thanks for reading my rant.

Great point! There’s no way BB sold out the Rare Metal. I went on finishline that night and saw only 2 sizes and i’m like WTF. I hate this type of marketing. Good thing is that there’s so much out there, that if you miss a drop, just go on to the next and by then, that shoe you wanted initially will magically reappear and can be had for cheaper. I like BB, but I haven’t seen anyone here in NYC wear any of their basketball products.

lmao, i knew it was a rant when i saw restock in quotations… BB should just the shoe speak for itself. if it has all their best tech and they’re only charging 110, they don’t need to play any games. I copped btw and can’t wait to play in em, but I definitely get what you are saying.

Haha yea I think they fixed a lot of the issues I had with the jc2 and 3. Just tired of the games.

I am the same way. I did end up getting the shoes out of curiosity. I honestly didn’t like the JC2 all that much and will be surprised if I do end up liking these.

Update: The length feels like the clb 2016. The cushion was good but boost is better. Sits low to the ground and the lacing so feel like mids but still like my clb 2016 better. The heel slip went away after about a month.

Nice! I pulled the trigger just to try them on and I agree, they run long like the clb 16 but perfect width for my wide feet. Heel slip went away in clb you mean?

Yup on the clb. And I agree with you on the width of the rare metal. It’s not a bad shoe at all for the price.

6 to 8 weeks. All depends on inventory . I think dicks is getting them as well and they have good sales as well

Not entirely related but I was checking out footpatrol uk yesterday after my friend said he is visiting the UK. So the Hyperrev x Fragment design only have size 10 and 11 left (i’m a 10.5). So anyway I remembered they have the JC 3 Lux (same tooling but with leather upper) which was 200 gbp (205 to be exact) and they are now 65 xD. And my excitement dropped again because there is no regulat size left now :|.
Back to the Rare Metal, even when Nightwing claimed that he will try to be unbiased but I’m gonna wait until there are more review that address containment. Probably the Sole Brothers would have one soon, they are really quick with their reviews
